  • You Might Be Sabotaging Your Relationship Without Even Knowing It | Discussing Relationship Blindspots with Jerry Clark
    2026/08/13

What if the biggest problems in your relationships aren’t the ones you can clearly see but the patterns operating underneath the surface?

In today’s episode of Self Help Show, I sit down with Jerry Clark, author and Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 30 years of experience, to talk about the blind spots that can quietly sabotage relationships, emotional connection and personal growth.

Jerry has spent decades helping individuals and couples understand the patterns they bring into relationships especially the ones they may not even realize are there.

We explore why it can be so easy to see what our partner is doing wrong while completely missing our own contribution, how anxiety can distort the way we interpret love and connection, why chemistry is not always the same as compatibility, and what emotionally healthy relationships actually require.

  • The Invisible Things That Carry Us: A Universal Reflection on Gratitude | Self Help Podcast
    2026/07/30

In this solo episode of the Self Help Show, Gina Margaret Tiger explores gratitude from a deeper, more universal perspective, beyond religion, beyond forced positivity, and beyond simple gratitude lists. This episode reflects on gratitude as recognition: the ability to notice what has carried us, supported us, protected us, changed us, and reminded us that life is still unfolding.

Gina reflects on how gratitude can help us stop rushing past our own lives, soften entitlement, build acceptance, and reconnect with the quiet support that is often easy to overlook. This is a grounding conversation for anyone who is healing, growing, rebuilding, or learning how to appreciate life while still becoming.

In This Episode, She Talks About

    • Gratitude as recognition, not performance
    • Why gratitude is universal, even across different belief systems
    • How to honor God, Creator, the Universe, life, or whatever source feels true to you
    • Why gratitude is not the same as pretending everything is perfect
    • How acceptance and gratitude can exist alongside ambition
    • The invisible support systems that carry us through life
    • Why some closed doors, delays, and redirections can become blessings
    • How gratitude helps us stop rushing past our own lives
    • The difference between entitlement and appreciation
    • How to become more present, grounded, and emotionally aware

    Key Takeaway

Gratitude is not about having every answer or living a perfect life. Gratitude is the practice of recognizing what has carried you, what is still supporting you, and what remains possible.

    Powerful Reflection From This Episode

Sometimes we are so focused on what is missing, what is next, or what has not arrived yet, that we forget to notice what is already here.

Breath. A new day. A lesson. A chance to begin again. A person who showed up. A door that protected us by closing. A strength we did not know we had. A moment of peace we almost overlooked.

Gratitude brings us back to the present and reminds us that life is not only valuable when everything has finally arrived.

    Listener Reflection, Ask yourself:

What has been carrying me that I have not fully recognized yet?

Maybe it is faith. Maybe it is love. Maybe it is grace. Maybe it is timing. Maybe it is your own quiet resilience. Maybe it is life itself. Whatever it is, take a moment to say thank you.

  • AI Is Changing the World But What Is It Doing to Us? Future of Work, Identity & Staying Human | Self Help Show
    2026/07/23

Artificial intelligence is no longer something far away in the future. AI is already here shaping how we work, create, communicate, learn, build businesses, and even think about our value.

In this solo episode of the Self Help Show, Gina Margaret Tiger opens up a powerful conversation about AI, the future of work, emotional resilience, identity, purpose, creativity, and the human mind.

As tools like ChatGPT, automation, generative AI, and machine learning become part of everyday life, many people are asking deeper questions:

Will AI replace jobs? How do I stay relevant? What skills will matter in the future? What happens to creativity when machines can create? How do I protect my mental health in a world that keeps changing so fast? What does it mean to stay human in the age of artificial intelligence?

This episode looks at AI through a self-help and personal development lens. Instead of only focusing on technology, Gina explores what AI is revealing about people: our adaptability, our fears, our creativity, our relationship with productivity, and our need to build identity beyond work.

AI may be changing industries, careers, and opportunities, but it is also inviting us to become more conscious, more emotionally grounded, and more intentional about who we are becoming.

This episode is for anyone feeling curious, overwhelmed, excited, uncertain, or inspired by where the world is going.

In This Episode, I Talk About

    • How artificial intelligence is changing the world
    • What AI means for the future of work and jobs

    Key Takeaway

AI is changing the tools, the platforms, and the speed of the world but it does not have to take away your humanity. The future belongs to people who can adapt, think clearly, create meaning, regulate their emotions, and stay connected to who they truly are.

    Ask yourself:

Am I using AI to support my growth, or am I allowing it to disconnect me from my own thinking, creativity, and intuition?

This episode is perfect for listeners interested in AI, artificial intelligence, ChatGPT, the future of work, AI and jobs, automation, personal development, emotional intelligence, mental health, self-worth, creativity, career growth, digital transformation, human skills, technology and society, and how to stay human in the age of AI.

  • I Almost Gave Up… But the Self Help Show Just Turned 5
    2026/07/07

After six months away from the microphone, I’m finally back.

My last episode was released on December 30th, and honestly, there were moments where I thought I might not continue. Podcasting takes a lot, the planning, recording, editing, publishing, promoting, and showing up again and again. Most successful podcasts have teams behind them, and for the past five years, I’ve been doing so much of this journey on my own.

But on June 25th, the Self Help Show officially turned 5 years old.

That milestone reminded me that this work still matters. The conversations still matter. The healing still matters. The people who listen, learn, grow, and feel seen through these episodes still matter.

So this episode is a personal check-in, a comeback, and a recommitment to the journey ahead.

In this episode, I share where I’ve been, why I needed time away, what it has really taken to keep this podcast alive, and why I’m excited to continue. There are more conversations coming, more experts joining the show, and more honest reflections on healing, growth, self-love, emotional wellness, purpose, and becoming who we are meant to be.

Thank you for being here, whether you’ve been listening from the beginning or you’re just discovering the Self Help Show now.

We are still here. We are still growing. And this next chapter is going to be powerful.

In this episode, I talk about:

    • Returning to the podcast after six months away
    • What it has taken to keep the Self Help Show going for five years
    • The reality of building something meaningful without a full team
    • Why rest, reflection, and pauses can be part of the journey
    • Celebrating five years of the Self Help Show
    • What listeners can expect from the next chapter
    • Upcoming expert conversations and deeper healing topics

    Key takeaway:

Sometimes stepping away does not mean the dream is over. Sometimes it means you are gathering strength for the next chapter.

Thank you for listening to the Self Help Show.
