Good morning Lehi listeners and welcome to your hyper-local update for Saturday, October 4th 2025. If you’re heading out early, the skies are mostly cloudy with temps around 68 degrees, and we’ll climb to a toasty high near 89 by late afternoon. Humidity is sitting comfortably low at about 15 to 30 percent, making it feel less sticky than you might expect this time of year. Expect some passing showers as we move into the evening, but don’t worry—any rain should be pretty light and scattered, so you likely won’t need to cancel those evening plans. By tonight, temperatures dip back down into the mid 60s.

Allergy sufferers, there’s some good news: according to Weather Underground, pollen counts in Lehi are holding steady at moderate levels, so while sensitive folks might have a few sneezes, it’s a far cry from spring’s misery. Air quality is very healthy this weekend, so outdoor activities are a go if you want to take in the early October colors.

On the high school sports front, Friday night lights did not disappoint. Lehi High football delivered a thrilling win over American Fork, coming from behind in the fourth quarter to notch a 28 to 24 victory that kept hometown fans on their feet well after the final whistle. The girls’ volleyball squad also posted a strong showing, sweeping Skyridge in straight sets and solidifying their spot atop the region rankings. Congratulations to all the local athletes and coaches for a fantastic performance!

If you’re looking for something different to do today, Ashton Gardens at Thanksgiving Point is glowing with early fall color. The gardens are open and offer a perfect stroll, especially since the weather’s warm but not scorching. For something a little wilder, Sparks Museum and Event Center just a few minutes south in Provo is hosting their always-popular mechanical bull event, and rumor has it several out-of-towners will be attempting to best last season’s infamous “grandma faceplant” record. Foam pit included, of course.

Whether you’re cheering for another Lehi win, enjoying the gardens, or just relaxing at home, there’s plenty of local buzz this Saturday. Thanks for tuning in and don’t forget to subscribe. This has been a quiet please production, for more check out quiet please dot ai.
