Welcome to Episode 11 of Sascha Martin's Ripping News.

Today we begin our final tale for Season One, and loop back to the end of our very first calamity.

Avid listeners will recall, from Teasers One, Two and Three, that Sascha's Gobbly Goo had gobbled everything inanimate in Landfill, transforming everything to a snotty yellow sea; and the survivors had gathered, naked, on an island of coagulate.

Sascha Martin, unwitting architect of Landfill's destruction, faced an impossible task. His laboratory was gone, and all his tools. Only snot remained. And naked people. And bugs and animals.

It would take a miracle to save Landfill now. But Sascha doesn't deal in miracles. His work is hard science.

Is there no one who can help?

At last, journey's end for Mary-Alice Cooper, Landfill's brave little explorer of stupid places ... or, like, one stupid place, but lots of times.

Wearied by travel, artillery assault and people not hearing her truth, Mary-Alice returns for a long-anticipated reckoning with Those Who Dared to Ignore Her when they shouldn't have, so it was all their fault.

Can the boys withstand her incisive critique of everything that's wrong with them?

Will her elevated morals finally make them address the fundamental and myriad failings of their nature?

Can they even survive, when this force of nature unleashes its fury beneath Old Tip Road?

Retiring victorious but in haste from the field of combat, Mary-Alice plunges into a new world where the vowel-impaired are many, and they've invented washing day.

How respectful they are!

But as usual, disaster lies dead ahead, and it's not going anywhere.

Has Mary-Alice's endless journey finally reached its end?

Sascha's snotty genie is out of the bottle, and it's hungry. Or maybe just greedy. It's not granting anyone's wishes, that's for sure.

Already, Landfill Public School is just a mucusy memory, and the outside world has no idea it's on the menu.

Can nothing stop this demon of devouring, this monster of munching, this apocalypse of apparel?

Surely its creator can stop what he's set in motion? Well, about that ...

Fresh from the rustic charm of her recent home invasion, Mary-Alice returns to the scene of the crime, though not its time, and faces an altogether more challenging welcome - an armed antagonist with murder in his myopic eye.

Can she de-escalate the situation, using all her natural tact and diplomacy?

The broom, for once, is lost for words.

Mary-Alice, 2M drama queen and influencer, has been exposed in ways she never thought possible. Will her image survive this catastrophe?

But incredibly, it's not just about her.

All of Landfill Public School is prey to Sascha's insensitive, revolting invention, every secret laid bare as the racing, rumbling, radiating tide of blush-raising ruin spits and gobbles and squelches inexorably on.

Is this curtains for Landfill, and mucky curtains at that?

Is it the end for Planet Earth?

Mary-Alice’s worst trip ever plunges her deeper into the unknown - to her at least, and that’s all that counts.

She’s not in charge. She’s not even in the know, and both would have been unthinkable just moments before ... Moments? Or ... Look, ignore Time for a moment. It’s being weird.

And this place!

One moment ... hang on ... yes, that tracks, one moment she’s looking down on the unsophistication of an evening in the country, whichever one this is, and the next moment (yes) she’s hurled into a world of noise and terror, clonked on the head, and wakes among rustic, unabashed admirers.

But her Dark Companion shatters the moment just as she’s having it, and now there’s a crime scene to flee. Edmond Locard would have things to say about this moment, but his hasn’t arrived yet, and the point is moot.

Yes, it's all great fun, until somebody loses their knickers!

When Sascha's latest news drops, it falls on Mary-Alice to reveal its unspeakable secret. Now the air is full of bugs, beasts and birthday suits, and Landfill is vanishing faster than you can say bare bottoms.

Who ever thought the apocalypse would be so embarrassing?
