"The ladders represent our self confidence, our will to succeed, the desire to survive, to move on, to keep on trying, to get up and keep on trying once more. Once again, that's actually quite similar to the game of snakes and ladder. If you look closely at any image of snake and ladder, the steps start from one and they end at 100. And always notice somewhere in the beginning, there's always a big ladder that boosts you up."

"Hi, fellow swell listeners. Today I'll be talking about this prompt. If I could be a character in any book or movie, I'm going to be talking about a novel that's written by Wilbur Smith, and he's written about eight books in collaboration with Mark Shatburn. And it's the ancient Egypt series."

"We all have different goals and dreams and values, different strengths and struggles and, and traumas, different opportunities and access and resources. And that means the places we get to go and the ways in which we get there are going to be unique. It's okay if your timeline looks different and it's okay to walk down a completely different path."

"The last time dear you. This won't be the last time that I'll say goodbye to you. This won't be the last time that I will hug you. This will be the last time that I will turn back to look at you again once more to remember your face, your expression. This won't be the last time that I'll flip over the album that has these beautiful memories of our stone."

"Can't they hear my cry for help? My throat. My throat is constricted. My mouth is dry. I can't see. I hear my ravaged breathing, my racing heart, blood pounding against my temple. Everything is giving in. I'm sinking. I'm sinking. I am raising my head, head thrown back, eyes wide open. I open my mouth to scream, but no sound escapes me. Body shaking, I draw in deep breaths."

"His wife was frustrated with this lazy no good man and she used to crib and complain asking him to find some work and help. About one day swapping, swatting these pesky flies who behaved just like him. Hovering around and doing nothing. An idea came to his mind. What if he killed a thousand of these flies? It didn't seem like mission impossible. And he went about the task sincerely. And soon enough, the day he killed the thousandth fly he ran about rejoicing in the village."

"The sound of the rope being pulled along the pulley drawing in the water from the well. The sound of water pouring from the bucket onto the drum. The sound of children playing in the yard with their delightful shouts, their laughter, their giggles. The sound of the metal gate opening with a squeaky sound as my grandfather would enter the home, carrying in hand some delicacies that you could smell from far away. The creaking sound of the seesaw as children play."
