This chapter narrates the divine wanderings of Shri Gajanan Maharaj as He seeks solitude in a Shiva temple near Pimpalgaon. After being discovered in a deep twelve year like samadhi by cowherd boys and lovingly brought back to Shegaon by Bankatlal, Maharaj travels to Adgaon during the scorching heat of summer. Here He encounters a farmer named Bhaskar who arrogantly refuses to give Maharaj water, dismissing Him as a burden to society. Maharaj remains undeterred and prays to the Almighty, invoking the names of Vitthal and Narahari. Through His divine grace, a well that had been dry for twelve years instantly overflows with sweet nectar like water. This miracle shatters Bhaskar’s ego, transforming his heart into a garden of faith and devotion. Spiritually, this adhyay teaches us that the ego is the greatest barrier to realizing divinity. We should learn to treat every soul with respect and understand that true wealth lies in devotion, not material possessions. By surrendering our arrogance at the feet of the Sadguru, we can experience the perennial spring of peace within ourselves. Jai Gajanan.

Season 1 · Episode 4

On the holy day of Akshaya Tritiya, Jankiram Sonar dishonours Maharaj and refuses to light his chillim. In a quiet display of his yogic power, the curry prepared that day suddenly fills with worms — and only when Jankiram sincerely apologizes does Maharaj restore it, clean and whole again. The lesson is gentle but clear: dishonour to a saint brings its own consequence, yet sincere repentance is met at once with grace. Maharaj then asks to eat kanhole made by Chandu Mukin a full month earlier. When the earthen pot is opened, the sweets are fresh and unspoiled a sign that where the divine presence rests, even time and decay lose their hold. The chapter then turns tender: Madhav, a Brahmin broken by the loss of his wife and children, has stopped eating, wishing only to end his suffering. Maharaj first counsels him firmly NOT to harm himself and then, seeing the ripeness of this weary soul and its longing for God alone, grants him peace and passage to Vaikuntha. The chapter closes with Maharaj's wish to hear the Vedas, after which learned Brahmins arrive in Shegaon.
