Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.
Jai Gajanan! 🙏
In Episode 11 of the Sant Mahima Podcast, we reflect on Chapter 11 of Shri Gajanan Vijay Granth, a deeply moving chapter centered on devotion, karma, surrender, liberation, and Maharaj’s divine grace.
After Bhaskar is bitten by a rabid dog, Shri Gajanan Maharaj explains the deeper connection between karma, previous births, life, death, and liberation. Knowing that only a short time remains, Bhaskar places himself completely at Maharaj’s feet and expresses one final wish — that a lasting memorial to Shri Gajanan Maharaj be established at Shegaon for future generations.
The chapter follows Maharaj and His devotees to Trimbakeshwar and Nashik, including the beautiful meeting with Shri Gopaldas, who declares that although they appear in two bodies, spiritually they are one. Later, at Adgaon, Bhaskar prepares for his final journey and, surrounded by chanting and devotion, leaves this world while Maharaj guides him toward Vaikunth.
This chapter reminds us that true surrender is not merely asking for what we want, but trusting the Guru to know what is ultimately best for us.
