Today we welcome the amazing comedian Lana Siebel for a very special psychic reading! Host Jennifer Wai acts as a medium for a member of Lana’s family and gets pretty sweaty in the process! You’ll hear a genuine experience of what it is like to be both the medium, and the skeptic on the other side of it. We also talk about childhood trauma, relationships with our mothers, and being a mother to absolutely hilarious children. Tune in to learn what to look out for when you want to connect with a loved one. We’ll be back in September 2024 for Season 2 after a lil summer break because … Moms gotta mom. Today’s episode is a throwback to late 2022 and features local comedians Kendra Dawsey, Kate Nichols and Madelein Murphy Smith who all performed at our inaugural live Sacred Comedy show in Jersey City! I talk about the origins of the project and the road that led me there (in lots of detail!), how I decided to start my own production company (a long time coming) and why I created a recurring standup comedy show/energy circle event (also a long time coming) that combined self-care with laughter as a form of healing. We talk about how comedy heals, why they do what they do, and how it feels to kill! If you liked this episode, please rate, review and share! We love and appreciate your engagement and support!

Standup comedian Devon Hall and host Jennifer Wai are together again! JEVON is back and ready to tawk. I wittled down our nearly 3-hour conversation into an hour and hope you enjoy the share. It’s been hard for both of us to connect lately but we find our way back in this episode. With two pretty different belief systems, we manage to find common ground as we talk about the metaphysical, the dmv, what makes a great comedy show experience, and of course since its us, food and beverages. Devon shares his adventures in being a better gay and Jen tries to explain Mercury in Retrograde. If you liked this episode, please rate, review and share! We love and appreciate your engagement and support!
