  • Vesicle from a Dying Cell: Apoptotic Bodies
    2025/11/10

Are you curious about apoptotic bodies? In this episode, we speak with Professor Ivan Poon from the La Trobe Institute for Molecular Science (LIMS) in Melbourne, Australia. His laboratory investigates how and why dying cells fragment into large extracellular vesicles known as apoptotic bodies. We discuss the biogenesis of these vesicles, key considerations for their isolation and characterization, and how this differs from studying small EVs.

  • The EV-Track Project and Reproducibility With An Hendrix
    2025/08/04

In this episode we hear from An Hendrix about the EV-Track project and its future directions through the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles (ISEV) EV-Track Taskforce. An’s group developed the EV-Track platform where researchers can submit their publications and experiments as a means of assessing and improving their methodological rigour. The platform is under ongoing development and represents a centralised database on EV publications and their experimental parameters. In this podcast An shares the story of the platforms development and makes a clear case for why EV researchers should engage with the EV-Track project. This is not an episode to be missed!
