(TW) Sensitive people are not by nature destructive people. When it becomes destructive it is necessary to ask what caused that destruction. And, how can resources serve us better?
Trigger warning for sensitive topics regarding mental health and the addictive (as well as other harmful) behaviours that can happen as a result. I want to note that when I discuss the unhelpful assistance of loved ones I am not trying to blame nor am I trying to excuse the behaviour of hurt and addicted people. I am just trying to put forth an emotional experience of a deeply wounded person, what state brought them to make those decisions for themselves and some of the reasons why they are so hard to reach. I am in no way trying to simplify or undermine the extremity of these situations. This is one interpretation and does not apply to all situations.
