  • Healing the Mother Wound with Mushrooms
    2023/05/16

In this episode, Jade shares her favorite and most transformational experience: a mushroom and cacao ceremony in Nosara, Costa Rica, where she started healing her mother wound.

We've all heard of "daddy issues", but the truth is, father's aren't the only parents who wound us. The Mother Wound is just as painful, potent, and in need of nurturing. Listen as Jade explores the Mother Wound, its immediate impacts, and how she went from not knowing the wound existed to reclaiming her power over this pain.

Jade begins this episode by notifying the audience she's taking a gentle (and temporary) break from recording. She plans to return in August with an entirely new arsenal of topics, offerings, and love to share.

    This episode also includes:

    • Discovering the Inner Mother by Bethany Webster
    • The Sacred Playground in Nosara, Costa Rica
    • Astral Projection
    • Psychedelic Mushrooms and Cacao in Ceremony

  • Being an Ever-Evolving Being with Emoni Harbor
    2023/05/09

Emoni Harbor, an all-around spiritual badass, takes over today's episode. Emoni is a yoga studio owner, yoga teacher, facilitator of healing, and the epitome of a doer. She's black, queer, and woman - and despite the odds against her, she's fully flourishing.

Jade and Emoni reminisce on college, the growth from who they were when they met in 2015 to the present, and all of the incredible ways Emoni is showing up for the community today.

In this raw conversation (AC humming in the background and all), these women get real about manifesting your dreams into reality. Emoni shares how her relationship with her mother has propelled her forward and supported her into this very moment.

She makes her own path, rocks to the beat of her own drums, and lives to encourage everyone to do the same. Emoni has lived a life where, despite how much she has pushed against the grain, she always felt accepted. She lives her life constantly testing the ground, seeing "how crazy it can get."

Her hustle and bustle life led her to search for serenity. Which led her to yoga. Her practice inspired to teach, and once she started, she couldn't stop.

Fast forward three years, Emoni now owns her own studio, Zen Den, which is the one stop shop for all things healing. She's self-taught and completely unstoppable.

And through it all, Emoni teaches us that there is absolutely nothing we cannot do.

Tune in to hear the full conversation.

  • What does it *actually* mean to feel your feelings?
    2023/05/02

Welcome to the nerdiest episode to date.

Jade dives into the big question, "What does it *actually* mean to feel your feelings?"

Using the research and technique created by Dr. David R. Hawkins in his book, Letting Go, we are able to learn how easy it actually is to feel our feelings -- and let them go.

There are (4) Steps to "Letting Go":

    1. Sit, observe, identify the emotion
    2. Hold Space for the emotion
    3. Stay with the emotion. Continue to witness.
    4. Let. It. Go.

In this episode, Jade also discusses "The Map of Consciousness," which is a tool to define and identify emotions. This map allows us to determine which emotions empower versus those that dis-empower us. To name the feelings and learn which ones to tap into to raise our state of awareness.

If we aren't already feeling and letting go of our emotions, what are we doing instead? Jade shares the (3) ways people tend to manage their emotions rather than actually letting them go.
