このコンテンツについて
In this episode, Scott is joined by Jarrett Moses and first time guest El-Fatih Chase. The trio talks about the Creatives’ Cafe open mic event where El-Fatih served as the closing incognito feature hosted on Tuesday November 12th at Bedrock Fishtown in Philadelphia.
The episode begins with El’s story of connecting to Ripe Creatives through an open mic event we hosted at our original venue more than four years ago at Highpointe Performance Cafe. As the conversation continues Jarrett and Scott talk extensively about Creatives’ need for a smaller more intimate venue space since Highpointe shut down in 2022.
The middle of the episode focuses mostly on the night of the event including shoutouts to a few different open mic performers and the three incognito artists before diving into El’s set. We also talk about El’s newfound excitement to record and release his first solo project in the months ahead because of the impact the event made on him.
The final part of the episode talks about Bedrock Fishtown being a great fit for our community’s cross-genre open mic outreach event for year ahead. We hope you enjoy the episode.
