After a short break, we are back! Welcome to the eighth episode of Season 2 of Futurise.
Season 2 will primarily focus in on AgenticAI, speaking to founders, funders and early adopters of the technology to share their insight and lessons learned.
In this episode, Rob is joined by Dr Shikoh Gitau, based out of Nairobi in Kenya. Shikoh is CEO of Qhala, a digital innovation company working across the African continent. We talk about AI in Africa, touching on their recent AI Talent Maturity Index, explore some of the examples of the work that has been done using AI to deliver social value, the complexities of bringing LLMs to countries with multiple languages, some of which have never been digitised and much much more.
