We’ll discuss the idea of being a product of your environment. By this, we mean that the environment a person grows up in can have a significant impact on the kind of person they become. This is especially true for black people in America, who are more likely to grow up in neighborhoods with high poverty rates, poor education systems, and limited access to resources. This means that black people are more likely to struggle in school, have difficulty finding employment, and are more likely to be exposed to crime and violence. #whymenow
