A native of Skaneateles, New York, Meryl graduated from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and was the first to complete its collaborative degree program with the Culinary Institute of America.

Meryl began her hospitality career in Napa Valley with Hillstone Restaurant Group, then helped launch two successful restaurants in Manhattan Beach. In 2010, she returned to the Finger Lakes to work with the Inns of Aurora, a company widely recognized for its people-first culture and nurturing leadership. There, she spent over a decade leading initiatives focused on recruiting, training, development, coaching, and team culture—laying the groundwork for her lifelong commitment to building environments where people and purpose thrive.

Now Chief Compassion Officer at Compassionate Leaders Circle, Meryl channels her superpower of nurturing into executive coaching, leadership development programs, and organizational transformation. With a blend of strategic insight and heart-centered leadership, she helps teams deepen connection, unlock potential, and co-create cultures of high performance and shared joy.
