Robert Davis holds the position of Senior Analyst at the Coordinating Council for Workforce Development (SC DEW), where he is responsible for implementing the legislative directives of the Statewide Education and Workforce Development Act. His primary objective is to create a Unified State Plan for education and workforce development. Prior to his current role, Robert gained experience working with SC Commerce, ECI Find New Markets, and the SC Department of Revenue. He earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration from the University of South Carolina.
We will explore the significance of the Statewide Education and Workforce Development Act in facilitating students' transitions into employment and post-secondary education, as well as its role in long-term workforce planning in light of upcoming demographic changes.
