Things escalate when Morgan falls for Frankie Croyden (Kim Richards) — the girlfriend of gang leader Nick Hauser (Paul Mones). Along the way, Morgan befriends the eccentric and fast-talking Jimmy Parker, played by a very young Robert Downey Jr. in one of his early film roles.
