  • What the Five Regrets of the Dying Teach Us About Living
    2025/07/31

When I first launched this podcast, I talked about Bronnie Ware’s Five Regrets of the Dying, and how reflecting on them can help us live more intentionally now, so we don’t get to the end with regret.

Lately, those regrets have been top of mind for me again, especially after the recent loss of someone close to me.

I believe the five regrets of the dying can serve as gentle check-in points to help us live more fulfilling lives today.

Here are some reflection questions inspired by those regrets:

    1. “I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.”
    → Check-in question:

What would I do differently if I trusted my own inner voice and intuition more?
What does “a life true to me” look like for right now, in this season of my life?

    2. “I wish I hadn’t worked so hard.”
    → Check-in question:

What am I working so hard for, and is it worth it to me?
What do I wish I had more time or energy for?

    3. “I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings.”
    → Check-in question:

What emotions have I been pushing down that want acknowledgment?
What would emotional honesty look like in one small interaction today?

    4. “I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.”
    → Check-in question:

Who do I feel most myself around and when did we last connect?
What relationships need tending, even in a small way?

    5. “I wish I had let myself be happier.”
    → Check-in question:

What brings me joy that I haven’t made space for lately?
How could I make that a priority today?

I encourage you to take a few moments and really reflect on these questions. They’re not just nice questions — they’re a roadmap for how to live.

  • 10 helpful thoughts before making a big change
    2025/07/03

Today I’m sharing ten helpful thoughts to think about, explore, or noodle on when you're about to take a big leap or make a meaningful change in your life. Whether you're switching careers, leaving a relationship, moving across the country, or simply choosing to live more authentically, this episode is for you!

    Here’s what I cover:

    1. You don't need permission to do what you want to do (though you may want someone's blessing!)

    2. You don’t owe anyone an explanation for what you’re planning or doing (unless you want to)

    3. You're not a bad person for wanting to change

    4. There’s never a perfect time to change and you’re never going to be 100% ready

    5. It’s okay to experiment

    6. It’s okay to ask for help or be a little lost along the way

    7. If there’s a will, there’s a way (time to get scrappy!)

    8. You can always change your mind

    9. Past performance does not dictate future success

    10. Not being 100% happy after change does NOT mean you've made the wrong decision

  • What are you wishing would be different?
    2025/05/29

One of the things I talk a lot about on this podcast is the power of starting small and how those tiny steps can spark massive change.

Even if your brain insists that the only way to improve your life is to burn everything down and start over… you don’t actually have to listen to that voice.

In today’s episode, I walk you through a different, much more doable way to create change. One that doesn’t require a full-blown life overhaul.

    Questions to Reflect On:

    1. What’s one thing you wish was different in your life?

    2. What do you think it’ll take to change it?

    3. What if that story isn’t actually true?

    4. What’s one tiny thing you could do today to get the ball rolling?

Ready to start creating a life you love? If you’re feeling stuck but ready to take action, let’s talk.

  • Minimum Viable Experience
    2025/05/22

Today, we’re diving into something that comes up a lot when you're redesigning your life: How do you take a big, audacious life goal, like moving somewhere you’ve never been, changing careers, overhauling your lifestyle, or even running a marathon when you've never run before, and ease into it instead of feeling like you're leaping off a cliff?

That’s what today’s episode is all about: creating a Minimum Viable Experience.

You might’ve heard a similar term before: minimum viable product. It comes from the tech and product design world, and it refers to putting something out there that's the simplest version of a product that still works well enough to test with real users.

So lately I’ve been wondering, what if you took that same concept and created a minimal viable version of what you want to do and applied it to your life? What would it be like to start out small and let yourself explore without committing to big changes right away? You might be surprised what you learn!

  • What no one talks about when you’re planning big (or small!) life changes
    2025/05/15

On today's episode I share some real-time updates on how my husband and I are redesigning our lives for the summer. I'm hoping that my personal example might help you think about a few things for your life.

What I've seen both in myself and in my clients is that when there are changes coming up, it’s so easy to bury yourself in logistics - the planning, the checklists, the organizing - all the stuff that helps you feel in control when you're experiencing change. But sometimes that focus on logistics also helps you avoid the emotions you're experiencing behind the scenes!

  • You're not stuck in a rut, you just need a nudge out of your comfort zone!
    2025/05/08

Today's podcast is a pep talk all about getting out of your comfort zone (without turning your whole life upside down). Whether you’re feeling stuck in a rut, bored, or just itching for something new, this episode is for you!

    I talk about:

    • The travel dreams my husband and I are scheming about that's definitely putting us outside our comfort zone

    • How someone I coached challenged herself to pursue her dreams of voice acting (and already landed a few gigs!)

    • Why imagining something new already starts to change you

Ready to start creating a life you love? If you’re feeling stuck but ready to take action, let’s talk.

  • What if your path needs to be a little weird?
    2025/05/01

Many of us believe life is supposed to be linear. And it feels like we're doing something wrong when it's not. We’re given this idea from a young age that things should unfold in a particular order. And if we deviate from that, we’d better have a really good explanation ready.

For some people having a defined path is reassuring, but for others, the idea of linearity can be incredibly limiting. This can lead people to take on roles or stay way too long in situations just because of how it might look if they left or changed things up.

So what if you gave yourself permission to imagine your path as a little bit weird?

What old stories about yourself would you have to drop?

What would be different about today?

I want to encourage you to explore that thing, whatever it is, to just plant the seeds of a different path. Your future self will thank you.

  • Low Power Mode (For Humans!)
    2025/04/24

Today I’m sharing a helpful analogy for anyone who struggles to rest. If you’re the kind of person who keeps going until you’re wiped out, or believes you can’t take a break until the to-do list is done…this episode is for you.

I’m introducing the idea of Low Power Mode—not just for your phone, but for you. Because sometimes, you're not at full capacity and that's okay. And instead of pushing through or fantasizing about quitting everything and moving to the beach, there’s a middle ground.

In this episode, I talk about…

    • Why so many of us struggle to rest

    • How overworking shows up as a coping mechanism for uncertainty

    • Signs it might be time to shift into Low Power Mode

    • 10 practical ideas for how to scale back when you’re running low

    • Two questions to help you figure out what’s essential when your energy is drained

Keep this analogy in mind to use the next time you're not feeling 100%. This isn’t about giving up or failing. it’s about recognizing your capacity and honoring it. Even our phones know when they need to chill, so why shouldn’t we?
