This week we review the sessions we've done with other guests and the information we're starting to see with generational trauma and how it's connected, how we can also start connecting our old ways of learning with the new ways of teaching and much much more. 

This week we are talking with Brian Jackson. Doctorial candidate, tribal education advocate, powwow MC and many many other aspects in education and tribal life. Join us this week as Brian talks with us about his journey and where tribal education could go, it's current status and his take on a technology in education.  

This week we talk with Samantha Maki. She is the Director of the Lac Du Flambeau Tribal Education department, she a student/staff mediator for conflict resolution, as well as many other aspects of Tribal Education. Same is originally from the Lac Du Flambeau Band of Chippewa but has lived in all over the state of Wisconsin. Tune in as we talk with Sam about tech in Indian Country as well as in Tribal Education.  

This weeks episode we talk with Kelly Jackson of Lac Du Flambeau, WI. Although Kelly didn't grow up on the reservation she has spent much of her life around Reservation life and she shares some of her experiences and thoughts with us this week. Kelly is also a historic preservation advocate who helped secure funding for the restoration of the boarding school in Lac Du Flambeau to ensure the history preservation, she is also a singer/song writer artist. Listen as we take our journey with Kelly. 

This week, our first guest, Mr. Ricky White of White Fish Bay, Canada, former Superintendent of Circle of Life Academy (COLA) in White Earth, MN and Tribal Education Consultant joins us to talk about his experiences growing up on the reservation in Canada. His take on where tribes are today, generational trauma and much much more. 

This weeks episode we talk about  my own personal experiences growing up on the reservation, generational trauma and it's impact on me and my life, tribes getting back to traditional beliefs and ways, how tribes would benefit in using technology to preserve history and language, as well as, what it would look like and be like to create a totally tribal corporation.
