Recovery: Unfiltered with Nick and Will is a raw, honest podcast about addiction, recovery, mental health, and the conversations people are often afraid to have out loud.

Hosted by Nick Fantozzi and Will Cashman, each episode brings real experience, clinical perspective, and direct conversation into topics like substance use, shame, relapse, chemsex, grief, relationships, recovery culture, LGBTQIA+ identity, and what it actually takes to rebuild a life.

It's a bit unfiltered, but our experience has shown that recovery itself is unfiltered.

Whether you are in recovery, love someone who is, work in the field, or are still trying to figure out where you fit, this podcast is a space for real conversation and connection.

  • LIVE from ARC Recovery Services RECOVERY FEST 2026: Peer Support in Action - James Osborn
    2026/08/17

Recorded live at ARC Recovery Fest in Akron, Ohio, Episode 11 features James Osborn, a Certified Peer Recovery Supporter with ARC Recovery Services and a person with more than eight years in recovery.

James shares how relapse, incarceration, treatment, community connection, and a willingness to change shaped his recovery. He also explains what peer support looks like in practice: walking beside someone as they establish goals, navigate recovery services, rebuild everyday life, and regain independence.

Nick, Will, and James discuss the boundaries of peer support, recovery housing, family support without enabling, balancing advocacy with accountability, professional burnout, warm handoffs between organizations, and the gaps that remain in housing, transportation, insurance, mental health services, and continuity of care.

For anyone struggling, James offers a powerful message: “Give yourself a break and give yourself a chance. It’s greater on this side.”
