Recent court-ordered disclosures revealed that some Signal messages involving Ratcliffe and other top officials were not preserved, with allegations that certain messages may have been deleted even after court instructions to retain them. On the international front, Ratcliffe confirmed a temporary pause in intelligence sharing with Ukraine following President Trump’s decision to halt aid, signaling a shift in the U.S. approach to its military and intelligence support for Ukraine. Ratcliffe indicated that the pause was responsive to questions about Ukraine’s commitment to the peace process, but also suggested that cooperation would likely resume as diplomatic efforts progress.
