On today’s episode we sit down with renowned celebritychef Theo Randall, who can most commonly be found running service at the 5 Star Intercontinental Park Lane.
You may recognise Theo from BBC One’s SaturdayKitchen, or perhaps you’ve read one of his cookbooks?
Theo spent a year in California training under AliceWaters, before returning to the UK and earning a Michelin Star during his time at The River Café in Surbiton – he is credited with developing it as an establishment that "changed Britain's restaurant culture for good".
His current venture, Theo Randall at the InterContinental Hotel London Park Lane has now been serving for 18 years makinghim the longest standing hotel guest in the history of hospitality!
The menu changes daily and takes fine diners on a tourof the mighty regions of Italian cuisine.
In this conversation Theo talks to us about his love forjazz and soul music, clubbing in Camden, how to keep cool during service, his charity work and how he continues to inspire younger generations to step into hospitality.
