First we talk with Jerry Farmer President of the Santa Barbara County Veterans Foundation. Jerry reminds us about the BIG Salute to the Armed Forces Event happening Saturday, May 17th, 11 am to 5 pm, at MacKenzie Park. It’s at the Corner of State Street & Las Positas. Drew Wakefield will be the Emcee. There’ll be live music, a Huey Helicopter & other military vehicles, plus BBQ, beer, wine and soft drinks. Any questions call Jerry at 805-350-2006.

Next we bring on Tariqh Akoni, Director of A & R and Production at Santa Barbara Records. Tariqh tells us about an awesome event called Celebrating the Music of David Crosby. It’s coming up Saturday, May 24th, 7:30 pm, at the Granada Theatre.
