President Putin has issued a DECREE enabling Russia to take CONTROL of Russian Power Stations owned by German business UNIPER and Finnish business FORTUM. These power stations have continued to be owned and operated by both companies since the Invasion of Ukraine started however both companies have been looking to sell these assets to Russian businesses. The Sale needs to be approved by the Russian state however President Putin has now decided to SEIZE these assets rather than allow a sale.
In this episode I look at the announcement in more detail, the investments made by Uniper & Fortum, how many other companies could be affected and what losses have incurred and written off by industries including the OIL INDUSTRY, AUTO INDUSTRY, BANKING and CONSUMER PRODUCTS.
