They just don't "make 'em" like they used to, right?!  A cliched phrase for certain, but in our humble opinion, so true when it comes to the STARS from pro wrestling's Golden Era, the 1980s! What do YOU think?  

It's time to focus on that ever-divisive decade, the 1980s!  Having "grown up" during this time, one co-host slightly older than the other, we take a look back upon our personal collections of glistening & pure 1980s music! Tapes, vinyl, what have you, was YOUR collection similar?  

From Val Kilmer's performance, to Oliver Stone's perhaps misguided portrayal of the band, to the surviving Doors' opinions on the movie to our own personal memories and takes, this is a passioned chat to say the least!  Even if you're not a fan of either the band or the movie, there is no denying the pop culture impact of both; particularly the former.  A fast-paced, off-the-cuff discussion from the perspective of two Doors' fans...Buckle up! 

"Is everybody in?  The ceremony is about to begin!"  Well, "ceremony" may be too strong of a term, but you get the idea!  A highly opinionated, slightly unhinged and always off-the-cuff discussion between two fans; The DOORS are simply one of our all-time favorites.  Tune in as we share our takes, opinions and personal experiences/memories in regards to this legendary band! 

We return to a topic near and dear to our hearts; DEPECHE MODE!  Included is a "deep dive," barely professional review (ha!) of their latest album, "Memento Mori," as well as our usual fun and personal takes on the BEST band in the world!  ALSO, we rattle off some DM tunes that wouldn't exactly be missed (in our humble opinion) if removed from their concert list and catalogue, ha! 

Well, what can I say? I was obsessed w/ this band when I was thirtenn (in 1989), and let's just say that "obsession" doesn't necessarily dissipate entirely over the course of a lifetime.  We had a blast discussing all things KISS; the legendary, garish and controversial "schlock rock" band, diving into personal memories, takes, opinions, band turmoil and may I even say some family therapy??  Even if you're not a fan, you'll enjoy this!

Listener beware:  This episode was recorded "live," and after a long day followed by some adult-beverage consumption...That being said, d*mn was this a fun episode!  Patrick and Mike are HUGE fans of the uniquely talented and hilarious comedy troupe, "the Kids in the Hall," and don't hold back on their opinions, takes, cast favorites, favorite sketches and so much more....Good times and laughter ensues.  Do NOT miss this!
