The Tampa Bay Rays pick up a much needed win, beating the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-0. The Rays got the offense started early. Yandy Diaz hit a lead off home run in the first inning to get the scoring started. He would come back up in the 3rd inning with a 2 run home run to make it 3-0. Junior Caminero would hit his 28th home run of the year in the 6th to make it 4-0. Drew Rasmussen started today for the Rays and was terrific. He went 5.1 IP striking out 6 and not giving up any runs. Garrett Cleavinger came in after him and got out of a bases loaded jam in the 6th inning. Edwin Uceta pitched two masterful innings in the 7th and 8th innings. Pete Fairbanks would close it out in the 9th to finish off the win. The Rays will go for the series win tomorrow afternoon.
