The Tampa Bay Rays lose a tough one to the Los Angeles Dodgers 3-0. For the 2nd time in 3 games the Rays get shut out by the Dodgers. The Rays best chance was in the 5th inning. After a Dodgers error the Rays got 1st and 3rd 1 out with the top of the lineup up, the Rays could not come through. Joe Boyle started for the Rays and was very good. He went 5 IP and did not give up any runs and struck out 2. The Dodgers would score their 2 of their 3 runs in the 6th and 7th inning both on RBI singles. They would add a run in the top of the 9th on a sac fly. The Rays would make in interesting in the bottom of the 9th. They would get the bases loaded with 2 outs but could not come through. The Rays will now head out west for a 2 week road trip starting tomorrow night vs the Angels.
