このコンテンツについて
Today on The True Purpose Podcast, host Will Stewart is joined by Director of Careers and EPQ at Arthur Terry School, Alex Zarifeh.
Alex’s mission as a Careers Leader is to “encourage informed decision making and developing work-ready skills”. Using research, refined during his time completing Warwick University’s Level 7 careers leadership training, Alex has built a sustainable Careers Strategy at Arthur Terry that can now be upscaled across his region.
Alex has curated an extensive learning journey that supports young people from every background in thinking proactively about their present skills and future pathways. He strives to promote social mobility by adopting a ‘vulnerable first’ approach, which guarantees that those from disadvantaged demographics receive additional face-to-face contact with the wider world of work.
In this episode, Will and Alex discuss the current education system and what they think needs to change to make our future generations work ready. They also cover the ‘Future Readiness’ concept and how it will transform the lives of young people.
On the podcast, we hear more from Alex about…
His vision for education.
AI.
The future of work.
Key development skills that help young people.
How to get the future generations ready for work.
… And where his passion for education came from.
