    "They want to feel they matter. They want to feel purposeful. They want to feel that they contribute to whatever they want to contribute to in a meaningful manner. And so this thought grew in my head as I was looking to develop a niche for my life. Coaching and authenticity kept coming back as my word. The thing is, when you live in different cultures in your own country, as many of you might know, India is very, very diverse."

    "They haven't learned to put words so that they are construed or misconstrued in certain ways. They write their hearts. And so this is probably the most accurate description of what she thinks of me or thought of me at that age, and the reason she loves me. Right. And nothing can be more real as a gut check than a list that is from the eyes of a five, six, seven year old. And so the reason this gift is special is because we all grow up."

    "He sang quesarasara in Spanish, and she took that in. And then the older gentleman kind of put his hand on her head and blessed her, and it was the most beautiful thing. So there is never any end of unexpected experiences that happen when we travel, because human beings are so incredible. The last one I remember is of a russian housekeeping lady in our hotel in Amsterdam. And we were talking about the Ukraine stuff at that time a lot. And she stopped by."

    "I love this prompt because I have been wanting to write about this particular movie and I just haven't gotten around to it. But I cried copiously and profusely during and after this film called 12th fail. It is a hindi movie by a very, very reputed, renowned director, Vidhu Vinod Chopra. It is not the typical Bollywood film, but if you have seen slum dog, it's something like that. But the difference is, this is based on a true story."
