    Steve Bell - a Winnipeg-based singer-songwriter who has released 21 albums over a 30-year career, with album sales exceeding 400,000 units. Add four concert videos, five songbooks, and more than 3,000 live shows, and you have a body of work equaled by few artists in any genre. Steve was recognized with the Order of Manitoba, and in 2022, he was inducted into the Order of Canada. Steve shares his story of inviting Christ into his life at 8 years old; going from making music as a family ministry to being thrown into crisis and how that turned a “giving” ministry to a need to receive; going to church in a federal prison as a child and a inmates teaching him how to play guitar; having the perspective that every single person is “God’s good idea” and that everyone is bearing gifts for one another; the importance of feeling seen and valued; being willing to receive someone’s gift; the song that continues to be a mentor; Canadian and American mindsets; the dynamic between artist and audience; the honour receiving the order of Canada; and what does hope look like “now”.
