Four Hoosier hitters belted home runs. Jake Hanley had two of those, along with shots by Korbyn Dickerson, Tyler Cerny, and Devin Taylor called game in the 8th inning by ripping a 3-run shot to put the Hoosiers up by 10 and clinch the run rule. Taylor reached base all six plate appearances, 3 by walk, 3 by hit, a feat no Hoosier has matched in at least the past two decades. Korbyn Dickerson and Ben Grable For his part, Dickerson went 3-for-5 on the day with 4 RBI's. Ben Grable opened the game on the mound with 4 innings of 1-run baseball. Dickerson, Grable, and head coach Jeff Mercer met with the media following the contest.
