  • THE BOOK OF JONAH | "Storms of Grace"
    2026/04/20

We are jumping into a new series on Jonah. The book of Jonah isn't primarily about a fish--it's the story of a faithful God pursuing a wayward heart. Through Jonah, we will learn together about God's relentless mercy for everyone. Sometimes God sends storms not to punish us, but to rescue us. Pastor Karla labels these "storms of grace". What would you call them? God's love interrupts our rebellion before it destroys us.

Sermon challenge: How might God be using a storm in your life to get your attention?

    Passage: Jonah 1:1-3

  • THE BOOK OF JONAH | "Running from God"
    2026/04/13

We are jumping into a new series on Jonah. The book of Jonah isn't primarily about a fish--it's the story of a faithful God pursuing a wayward heart. Through Jonah, we will learn together about God's relentless mercy for everyone. This morning, Pastor Karla opens this new series with the call of Jonah and his response to it. God's call often leads us out of our comfort zone and into His purpose. We all have a Nineveh we would rather not go to, but God's will is better than our way.
Sermon challenge: Where are you resisting God's direction right now?

  • DEEP WORK | "The Lord's Favor"
    2026/04/05

We live in a shallow world with quick answers, constant motion, and noise both inside and out. Lent calls us deeper--beneath distraction, beneath habit, beneath self. In the Old Testament, God often led His people into deep work confronting what was broken, healing what was hidden, and shaping His people for wholeness. This Lent, we enter that same journey and allow God to go beneath our surface to connect us more to our Divine Design.

As we celebrate the joy of Easter, Pastor Karla encourages us in the deep work of God, and that it is never wasted. It is through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ that we discover this truth most profoundly.

  • DEEP WORK | "Rising from the Depths"
    2026/03/30

We live in a shallow world with quick answers, constant motion, and noise both inside and out. Lent calls us deeper--beneath distraction, beneath habit, beneath self. In the Old Testament, God often led His people into deep work confronting what was broken, healing what was hidden, and shaping His people for wholeness. This Lent, we enter that same journey and allow God to go beneath our surface to connect us more to our Divine Design.

On this final Sunday of Lent before we celebrate Easter, Pastor Karla takes us through one of the most amazing stories in not only the Old Testament, but the entire Bible. A story of hope, redemption, and resurrection. She t points out that the God who works in the depths also brings new life from them. The deep work of Lent leads not to despair, but to hope for new life.

  • DEEP WORK | "Embracing the Cracks"
    2026/03/22

We live in a shallow world with quick answers, constant motion, and noise both inside and out. Lent calls us deeper--beneath distraction, beneath habit, beneath self. In the Old Testament, God often led His people into deep work confronting what was broken, healing what was hidden, and shaping His people for wholeness. This Lent, we enter that same journey and allow God to go beneath our surface to connect us more to our Divine Design.

On this fifth Sunday of Lent, Dr. Max Butterfield encourages us in a call of faithfulness. He discusses how a life of loving God and serving others sometimes has seasons in which we feel abandoned and broken. But God's deepest work often feels like breaking, but it's the breaking that makes us whole and results in multiplication.

  • DEEP WORK | "Restoring the Center"
    2026/03/15

We live in a shallow world with quick answers, constant motion, and noise both inside and out. Lent calls us deeper--beneath distraction, beneath habit, beneath self. In the Old Testament, God often led His people into deep work confronting what was broken, healing what was hidden, and shaping His people for wholeness. This Lent, we enter that same journey and allow God to go beneath our surface to connect us more to our Divine Design.

During this fourth Sunday of Lent, we are now at a time 480 years after the Exodus event to the building of the Temple. It was a promise David made to God, and it was fulfilled by Solomon. At this dedication Solomon has a prayer, a moment in which he realizes the berevity of what they are doing in building this Temple, and we see what happens when the people (we) take our eyes of God as the center of our worship and our lives. This week, Pastor Karla discusses how deep work reorders our hearts so that God's presence is once again at the center.

Healing happens when we face our pain, not when we run from it. Deep work means confronting what hurts and letting God's mercy transform it.

  • DEEP WORK | "Healing the Wounds"
    2026/03/08

We live in a shallow world with quick answers, constant motion, and noise both inside and out. Lent calls us deeper--beneath distraction, beneath habit, beneath self. In the Old Testament, God often led His people into deep work confronting what was broken, healing what was hidden, and shaping His people for wholeness. This Lent, we enter that same journey and allow God to go beneath our surface to connect us more to our Divine Design.

During this third Sunday of Lent, Pastor Karla tells a strange story found in the Book of Numbers, but the implictions of it on our lives are eternal and life-changing. Jesus refers to this story in the desert wanderings to tell about himself and what his work on the cross means. We find that healing happens when we face our pain, not when we run from it. Deep work means confronting what hurts and letting God's mercy transform it.

  • DEEP WORK | "Facing the Truth"
    2026/03/02

We live in a shallow world with quick answers, constant motion, and noise both inside and out. Lent calls us deeper--beneath distraction, beneath habit, beneath self. In the Old Testament, God often led His people into deep work confronting what was broken, healing what was hidden, and shaping His people for wholeness. This Lent, we enter that same journey and allow God to go beneath our surface to connect us more to our Divine Design.

We come to this second Sunday of Lent at a familiar story, but one that dones't seem to relate to us, unless you've done some thing really bad. It's the story of David and his sin with Bathsheba. This week, we learn that transformation begins with honesty--allowing God's truth to expose what we hide. It is deep work to face ourselves in light of God's truth.
