Tune in to listen to Katheirne chat about everything wandering around in her brain. Katherine identifies as an Artist and Creative. She believes we are all artists, we are all creative, and that to heal the world, first we must heal ourselves. The concept of all day I play pretend came to Katherine one day while creating art, that we are all existing in this world and have the choice to create in it/play in it the way we so choose to be, we are all just trying to figure it out as we go along the way.Katherine Roesler アート

  • You’re Overwhelmed, Addicted, and Alone—Start Making Art
    2025/06/06
Social media connects us and disconnects us—it’s a double-edged sword, and art may just be the tool for individual and collective healing. The world is crazy right now, collectively we are overwhelmed, overconsuming, addicted and lonely. We can watch global events unfold in real time. The democratization that social media has brought us is leaving us connected to people that we never would have been able to meet, but it still leaves us feeling addicted and alone. We are live-streaming genocide from the computer we call our phone, the next scroll is a fart video or misinformation. The algorithm doesn't care about you, it just wants your attention. We need to create, to play, to make art, create community and connection in person. Art, Dance, Music, Poetry, Writing - The Arts Heal. Also, reach out to your government reps, sign online petitions for causes you care about, search locally for movements in your area online and join them in person!!
