On October 27, 1973, overnight radio host Remo Davis disappeared from his studio atop New Orleans' Trade Mart. The original broadcast masters were lost. The tapes remained.

More than fifty years later, a signal has been found.

Pitch Black Vinyl is the first season of a three-season audio horror series created by Jim Fitzmorris and built around the recovered broadcasts of mysterious legend Remo Davis. His program begins in the familiar territory of records, conversation, and late-night radio before taking increasingly unsettling turns. What begins as an ordinary broadcast becomes a journey into a world where the signal itself may be the most dangerous thing on the dial.

Featuring a performance by Bob Pavlovich and sound design by Clare Marie Nemanich, with additional writing from JonGunnar Glyfason and Adriana Luciano, the series draws on the atmosphere of overnight radio, the uncanny traditions of weird fiction, and the strange stories that accumulate along America's highways after dark. Radio is not simply a setting but a world the listener enters: intimate, unpredictable, and increasingly difficult to leave.

Add your voice to the signal. All thoughts, ideas, and special music requests go directly to Remo Davis.
