  • Ep. 68 - UFC Paris Recap, UFC Noche Preview - CJI cash controversy
    2025/09/10

Oi legends, back on the mics after a wild week in the fight world.

We kick off with a full recap of UFC Paris, where the French delivered carnage. Only two decisions on the entire card, the rest? Straight KOs.

    • Paul Craig got absolutely ironed out at the buzzer, brutal hellbow.

    • BSD made Ruffy look like he’d never seen a mat, got the tap and made it look easy.

    • Caio vs Imavov was a proper scrap, high level, but with a couple of cheeky eye pokes that stirred the pot.

Then we look ahead to UFC Noche, solid card, not a PPV, but there’s value if you know where to punt.
We drop a few Piestrong punts too, have a crack (or don’t, we’re not your financial advisor).

    📢 Fight Announcements:

    • Pantoja vs Van locked for Dec 6 at UFC 323

    • Islam vs JDM?? What the hell is happening

    • Zhang vs Shev, Prates vs Edwards, Hooker vs Arman

    • Topuria vs Almakhan, Yadong vs O’Malley, and yeah Costa’s apparently fighting the “one-eyed bloke”

    • Reports say Ilia’s out till 2026 rough scenes

🗞️ MMA News and it’s chaos as usual:

    • Danis and Rockhold throw hands at the weigh-in, now Danis reckons DC’s next

    • Jamie Foxx opens up about the Tyson biopic

    • Oh, and Colby wants in on the White House card

    • Gordon Ryan says a year with DDP and he’s ready for Khamzat, okay mate

🔥 Hot Take of the Week:
Who’s the most disliked fighter in the UFC right now... and why is it Belal?

🥋 CJI Recap to wrap it up:

    • Day 1 had solid grappling but way too much stalling, bit of a letdown

    • CJ threw $50K per sub on Day 2 to get things moving, and it worked

    • B-Team got the dub, but it wasn’t without drama

    • The money guys handed New Wave $1M, even though CJ didn’t want it, got overruled

    • Helena dominated the women’s division and took home $100K

    • And the open scoring in the women’s matches? Honestly sick. UFC should seriously look at it

Press play, grab a cold one, and let’s get into it.

    • Arman might have a November scrap lined up, a few names floating.

  • Ep. 64 - On paper Khamzat wins but DDP cant even read
    2025/08/13

Oi legends, welcome back to the pod where we break down the chaos from the cage to the current headlines, through the eyes of 3 blokes who are over confident and under qualified.

This week we’re diving into the massive UFC shake-up.

Yep, Dana’s signed off on a $7.7 billion deal with CBS and Paramount.

Pay-per-views? Pretty much gone. Great news for the fans, (Except the Aussies) not so flash for the fighters.

We’ll unpack what it all means and whether Dana’s still got a wildcard PPV or two up his sleeve if a big name drops in his lap.

    Also on the cards:
    • Dricus du Plessis’ top moments and how he reckons he figured out Khamzat
    • Mike Chandler still barking up the wrong tree with McGregor, even with that new training footage
    • Rampage Jackson being Rampage — nothing’s changed and honestly, we’re here for it
    • Khamzat’s angles and his custom shorts — bloke’s deep in his villain era

Plus we get into some spicy current events — no more Down syndrome cases? A wild claim, but it’s out there.

And that bombshell about the Obama admin allegedly creating a false narrative to boot Trump in 2016. Big stuff.

Then to wrap it all up:
    • A few hot takes including why Tom Aspinall is the only thing keeping the heavyweight division alive right now

Whether you’re punching darts, cruising in the ute, or just killing time, chuck us on and let’s rip in.

  • Ep. 63 Scrap recap - Conor "and still" but not what you think
    2025/08/10

Righto, in this week’s episode we’re unpacking the Taira vs Park and Hernandez vs Dolidze scraps — bit to chew on there. Judges were in rare form again, a couple of sketchy splits, and they completely tossed a 10 8 round in the Julius Walker fight. No idea what they were watching.

We’ve got a full UFC 319 preview, plus a few punts we’re having a look at if you’re keen to throw some coin.

    New fights just dropped:

    • Ruffy vs BSD

    • Umar vs Bautista

    • Oliveira vs Fiziev (absolute banger)

    • Vera vs Zahabi

    • Ilia vs Gaethje getting lined up for December

    • Jimmy Crute signing the dotted line for Perth, Aussie boy’s back

MMA world’s off its head this week:

    • McGregor loses his appeal again

    • Khamzat wanted $700k from Adin Ross to stream with him, Islam did it for free 😂

    • Martin Buday cut from the UFC even though he was 7 and 1

    • Ribas copped it rough

    • DDP’s looking MASSIVE, could easily run at 205

    • Jake Paul’s taking swings at Piers Morgan now

    • Strickland’s still saying cooked stuff online, what’s new

    • Ngannou’s not on the PFL boss’s Christmas list

    • Rogan’s making more than some fighters just to chat

    • Mighty Mouse doing… well, whatever that was

    • And apparently Conor wants to be president but can’t even get 12k signatures

Wrapped it all up with a bit of CrossFit chat (Toomey is the GOAT) and Angel Reese flexing on social media like it’s her job — which, to be fair, it kinda is.

Give it a listen, throw us a follow, and as always, swing hard and keep your chin down.

  • Ep. 62 scrap recaps, Whittaker vs De Ridder. Conor back in the testing pool
    2025/07/30

Alright legends, in this week’s episode I run through all the wild moments from UFC Fight Night Whittaker vs de Ridder. Bit of a weird one to be honest, but plenty to talk about.

We had Buday pulling off a huge upset in the heavyweight division, and Steve breaking the record for most knockdowns in a single round six in the first while poor Yahya somehow stayed in there way too long. Ricci lands a beauty of a KO, Davey Grant turns things around after a rough first round, and Muslim Salikhov with a clean walk off knockout, always love those.

Shara walks through fire to get the win (fight of the night for mine), Petr Yan starts slow but finishes strong, and Bryce Mitchell edges out Nurmagomedov in a tight one. Also, Krylov gets knocked out again, ASU Almabaev looked solid, and Ochoa’s someone I’m keen to see more from. Oh, and Reiner de Ridder, that goofy bastard, somehow sneaks a split decision over Bobby Knuckles. Don’t ask me how.

    Also covering:
A quick look at UFC Taira vs Park
Fight announcements like Pico vs Lerone Murphy as the 319 co-main and Ulberg vs Reyes headlining UFC Perth, banger

Bit of news around the traps:
The Flack Forge Inn burned down (with Conor chiming in of course)
    Pavlovich dodges JJ’s handshake
Shavkat’s family involved in a car crash, awful stuff
    T-Ferg’s maths still not mathing
    Costa getting chirpy online
And chat around a social media ban for under 16s , thoughts?

Cheers for tuning in. As always, give it a listen, share it around, and I’ll catch ya next week.

  • Ep. 61 - Scrap recap ufc 318 - I'll show you how great I am
    2025/07/24

Righto, big episode this week, we’re unpacking all the chaos from UFC 318. Full recap of the card, including the post-fight presser, where things got a bit spicy.

Vettori vs Allen copped Fight of the Night (fair call?), and we give props to the POTN winners: Carli Judice, Areba Gautier, and Islam Dulatov — all with cracker performances.

Bit of drama too — Dana reckons he “can’t risk” putting Jon Jones in a big spot again. We get into that, plus a quick preview of this weekend’s UFC Fight Night with Rob Whittaker taking on Reinier de Ridder in a tasty main event.

    📍 Piestrong Punts (Non-PPV Picks):

    • Ibo Aslan: all-action or early nap

    • RDR as the underdog?

    • Asu Almabaev late replacement?

    📢 Fight Announcements Going Off:

    • Dillon Danis fighting William Spence for the Misfits LHW strap

    • Darren Till vs Luke Rockhold

    • Tony Ferguson vs bloody Salt Papi (yep, you read that right)

    • Aspinall vs Gane locked in for Oct 25

    • UFC 320 looking stacked: Ankalaev vs Pereira, Dvalishvili vs Sandhagen, Jiri vs Rountree Jr.

📰 MMA & Combat Sports Yarn:

    • Pereira’s ex gets kicked from Karate Combat events — Alex full-on reenacts the scene 😂

    • Tim Tszyu gets stopped — tough watch

    • Pacquiao gets done dirty

    • Usyk’s resume getting overlooked in GOAT chats?

    • Jack Della calls himself the lineal BMF after Ilia posts the fake belt — and honestly, he might have a case: Jorge > Usman > Leon > Belal > Jack

Grab a cold one, settle in, and let’s talk fights. Like, follow, and give it a rating if you're keen.
