  • Conversations That Keep Seniors Thriving – with Perrysburg Resident Colleen Fisher (Director of Sales and Marketing at St. Clare Commons)
    2025/11/07

Colleen Fisher is a social worker and the Director of Sales and Marketing at St. Clare Commons, a Senior Living Community, located at 12469 Five Point Road (Perrysburg, OH). St. Clare Commons offers various levels of care, including independent living, assisted living, memory care, long-term care, and skilled nursing care.

During our interview, Colleen describes the amenities and services provided at St. Clare Commons, such as personalized care, social activities, and community engagement. She also coaches me on natural ways to initiate meaningful conversations with my own parents, using open-ended questions about future plans and daily living abilities. No matter where you are in your life, I hope this episode helps you, too.

There are several myths surrounding senior living communities - such as it being an old folks' home or a place for those who can't take care of themselves. During our conversation, Colleen explains that senior living communities offer a vibrant lifestyle with amenities and social activities. Caregiver strain is also discussed.
