  • 9 PM Routine with insights from Lt. Brenton Duran
    2025/07/25

Lt. Brenton Duran from the City of Perrysburg Police Division talks about the 9 PM Routine in this episode. Make the 9 PM Routine a daily habit. Every night at 9 PM, take your valuables out of your car, lock your car, lock your home, close your garage door (if you have one), lock your windows, arm your security system, and leave an outside light on. Crime prevention doesn’t have to be complicated. You just need a routine.

Why talk about the 9 PM Routine in July? According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, July is National Vehicle Theft Prevention Month. This episode was published on July 25, 2025. Perfect timing!

We also talk about the city’s non-emergency number, toilet paper pranksters, and more in this episode.

I elaborate on each point in the last 5 minutes of the episode. You don’t have to be an author by trade to write a book.Gary filled a (local history) gap with his books.Gary self-published his books. You don’t have to write your book alone.Price your book to sell, and sell your books where there is traffic (local events and the internet).Be persistent.
