    You drink. It feels normal. It feels social. It feels like nothing that should be making things worse.

    But alcohol is one of the most overlooked reasons perimenopause symptoms are harder than they need to be. Not because you're drinking too much. Because of what alcohol is actually doing inside a perimenopausal body that nobody has explained to you.

    In this episode I go through exactly what's happening to your sleep, your anxiety, your hot flushes, your weight, your gut and your ability to build and maintain muscle every time you drink. And I share what happened when I removed it for thirty days, starting the 29th of November, going straight into December of all months.

    This isn't about telling you to quit. It's about making sure you have the full picture.

    I'm a women's health coach, but more importantly, perimenopause hit me like a freight train. I used my own body as the test dummy to work out what actually helps, and while I'm still very much in perimenopause, I'm now pretty much symptom free. I've lived it, tested it, and know what works. Now I help other women understand what's happening in their bodies so they can get the relief, reassurance, and support that's so needed.

    I am still in perimenopause. My hormones have not magically recovered. And I am completely symptom free.

    That didn’t happen by balancing my hormones. It happened because I finally understood what perimenopause was actually doing to my body and I stopped fighting it.
