We talk about how Britain degraded from a united nation that provided the first comprehensive welfare state in the world to its people, including a free national health service, free education, subsidised housing and utilities to what it is today commonly known as 'Broken Britain' amongst the people. This is a divided country where the basics of life are increasingly outside the reach of ordinary people, where the welfare state has been degraded so it's not fit for purpose and no institution functions for the betterment of the country and its people. We look at how this happened, who engineered it and why, and what the future holds for what was once a nation the world looked at with respect into a mocked country that is disintegrating in front of our eyes. Who is benefitting from this? And where do we go from here?© 2024 世界 政治・政府 政治学 社会科学

  • How Institutions Control and Fail Us
    2025/09/18

Why do we build systems? Why are they neccessary for our communality? Then why do they always ultimately fail? Must be us, musn't it, as we build them?

All systems soon begin to fail because the failure of every system we build rests in the reason for their creation, our insecurity.

Priests, politicians, businessmen, doctors, administrators, generals, police officers, anyone anywhere, corrupt any system, use it to enhance their own security by rising up in its hierarchy, towing the given self-justifying line, and encircling the internal wagons when exposed, at the expense of those outside the institution.

Once this happens, the institution has become a self-sustaining entity, largely only concerned about itself, regardless of its original aims.
