  • What’s It Costing You to NOT Grow Your Business?
    2025/06/26

What’s It Costing You to Not Grow?

In this episode, we open up about one of the biggest mistakes we made in the early days of PelvicSanity—waiting years to invest in coaching. We thought we were saving money by doing it all ourselves...but it ended up costing us big time.

    💸 Lost revenue.
    ⏳ Wasted time.
😣 Burnout, skipped vacations and overwork.
👥 Losing great people because we couldn't manage them well.
    📉 Missed opportunities.

We break down the real cost of staying where you are and share why we’ll never run a business again without coaching.

You don’t drift into success. You build it—intentionally.

If your business isn’t supporting your lifestyle, passion, or financial goals, it’s time to make a change.

  • Stop Chasing Leads: Fix Your Conversion First
    2025/06/19

Are you constantly feeling like you need more leads to grow your practice?

We get it. The marketing world tells us to run paid ads, boost our SEO, post more on social, do (another) workshop. Basically, just keep doing more.

    But here’s the truth:
If you can’t convert the leads you’re already getting, more leads won’t help.

In this episode, we challenge the “lead chase” mentality and dive into:

    • Why practices feel stuck in a marketing hamster wheel
    • The 3 keys to great conversion: website, system, and phone
    • What a good conversion rate actually is (hint: 70%+)
    • How to optimize for the leads you already have

Before you spend another dollar on marketing, ask yourself:
🛠 Is my website actually pre-framing and building trust?
📞 Am I confident and clear on the phone—or hesitant and hoping they don’t ask about money?
📋 Am I following up in a way that gives people a chance to say yes?

🚀 Ready to stop chasing and start converting?

Inside our Business Accelerator, we give you the exact phone script we’ve used with more than 8,000 patients at PelvicSanity. It’s been tested and refined by 650+ pelvic rehab business owners to confidently handle objections and book patients with ease.

  • Do You Really Need to Glove for External Work?
    2025/06/16

Gloving for External Treatment – What’s Actually Best for Our Patients?

In this episode, we're diving into a surprisingly controversial topic in pelvic rehab: gloving for external treatment.

Our informal poll showed a nearly 50/50 split:

    • 58% of pelvic rehab professionals always glove with both hands for external work
    • 42% reported they don’t

    But why the discrepancy?

We take a closer look at:

    • How gloves can interfere with our palpation skills and clinical sensitivity
    • The potential message gloving sends to patients (especially when not medically necessary)
    • Why external treatment in ortho, massage, and chiro doesn’t involve gloves – and what that means for us
    • Whether your habits around gloving are intentional or just what you’ve always done

At PelvicSanity, we have a clear philosophy about when we glove (and when we don’t) – and we share that in this episode.

This isn’t about telling you what to do, but challenging you to examine your approach and make sure it aligns with your values and what’s best for your patients.

  • How to Actually Pay Yourself from Your Business
    2025/06/12

    "Pay Yourself First."
It’s become a buzzword in business…but what does it really mean?

In this week’s episode, we’re diving into one of the biggest sources of financial stress for business owners – paying yourself. Most of us weren’t taught how to handle business finances, and it creates a ton of anxiety. Am I saving enough? Doing it right? Transferring money properly?

    We get into:

    • What “paying yourself first” actually looks like in practice
    • Why you can’t pay yourself with money the business isn’t making
    • How consistency is key (just like rent or your EMR)
    • Whether to use payroll or just transfer funds directly
    • How to overcome the anxiety and confusion around business finances

At the end of the day, the most important thing you can do to pay yourself well is to make the business successful. There’s no revenue cap — so optimizing your caseload is the fastest way to give yourself a raise.

  • Please...Don't Poke Your Patient!
    2025/06/09

    “Don’t poke your patient.”
It’s something we say all the time, but it’s how almost all of us were taught in pelvic health.

Poking—pressing around internally to assess the pelvic floor—isn’t just ineffective, it’s also the wrong way to treat.

In this episode, we break down:

    • Why the “poke-and-see” method doesn’t work
    • How it’s completely different from how we assess any other muscle group
    • Why it causes patients to tense, brace or withdraw
    • What you should be doing instead to actually get helpful, functional information
    • How mentorship and advanced training can help you move past this outdated approach

This isn’t just a clinical technique—it’s about making patients feel safe, understood, and better with every visit.

  • Why Burnout Hits Business Owners Harder (And How to Fight It)
    2025/06/05

Burnout hits pelvic rehab business owners twice as hard.

First, there’s the emotional and mental weight of treating patients with chronic and complex issues—something all clinicians face.

But then there’s a second, heavier layer: the unique stress and responsibility of owning a business.
You’re wearing all the hats. Managing a team. Marketing. Making financial decisions. Juggling it all—and still trying to be present in your actual life.

In this episode, we talk about:

    • The two layers of burnout that hit business owners
    • Why owning a business is a marathon, not a sprint
    • How to recognize the early signs of burnout before it takes over
    • Strategies we use (and teach!) to prevent burnout while running a business you’re proud of

  • Interstitial Cystitis: A Missing Piece
    2025/06/02

Interstitial cystitis is one of the most complex conditions we treat—so what’s the missing piece?

In this Missing Piece episode from the Rising Vault, we’re breaking down one of the most overlooked contributors to IC:

💡 Neural tension of the sciatic nerve.

With interstitial cystitis, there are so many possible contributing factors—superficial pelvic floor muscles, constipation, urachus, inner thighs, ischiorectal fascia, even the calves.

But time and time again, we come back to the sciatic nerve and its major role in urinary urgency, frequency, and IC symptoms.

    In this episode, we discuss:
Why sciatic nerve tension can drive bladder symptoms
How to evaluate neural tension in IC patients
How addressing neural tension can transform your IC treatment approach

If you’re treating interstitial cystitis patients and not assessing neural tension, you could be missing a major factor in their symptoms.

Interstitial Cystitis: Holistic Evaluation & Treatment

If you're looking to learn more about how to treat IC and your complex patients, would love to have you join the IC: Holistic Evaluation & Treatment course. It will dive into both medical management and pelvic rehab techniques to make sure you're providing the most up-to-date care for your IC patients.
