    2025/10/09

Time Management for Solopreneurs: Building a Schedule That Works

Most solopreneurs don’t have a real schedule—they’re just reacting. Between patients, documentation, marketing, admin, and even social media, the day feels scattered and exhausting. No wonder burnout is so common.

In this episode, we break down how to build a schedule that actually works for YOU, including:

    • Why your highest-value task is seeing patients (and how to structure it)
    • How to use the Green/Yellow/Red system for your calendar
    • Building in daily admin time so it doesn’t creep into evenings
    • Setting aside long blocks for marketing and big-picture work
    • How to align your schedule with your energy and preferences

We’ll also share what Nicole’s schedule looked like when she was solo—and why productivity is a skill that business owners must learn, not something we’re naturally prepared for.

🎧 Tune in to start taking control of your time and set yourself up for long-term success.

  • Nicole's Nudge #2 - Don't Forget the Feet
    2025/10/06

This week’s Nicole’s Nudge is a reminder not to overlook the feet.

Our patients’ mechanics are influenced both from the top down and the bottom up. By assessing the foot, mid-foot, and rearfoot, we can uncover important contributors to pelvic floor dysfunction—or confidently check them off as not contributing to the issue.

Nicole’s Nudges are short, focused trainings designed to help you sharpen your skills and get back to the basics. Each one gives you a simple challenge you can apply directly with patients in your practice.

Your Challenge: The 80-foot challenge (or however many patients you see this week) - spend a few minutes assessing the foot in every patient on your caseload. Yes, all of them!

We’ll walk through how to incorporate foot assessment into an evaluation, how to prioritize what to focus on, and how to communicate clearly with patients when something isn’t relevant.

  • The 8 Pricing Mistakes Killing Your Profit
    2025/10/02

These Pricing Mistakes That Are Killing Your Practice

Pricing is the single biggest lever in whether your business thrives—or keeps you stuck. And here’s the truth: in working with over 800 practice owners, we’ve never told anyone they were overpriced. Ever.

    In this episode, we share:

    • The most common pricing mistakes that cost practice owners thousands (sometimes millions!)
    • Why packages are hurting your practice more than you realize
    • The fallacy of waiting for the “perfect time” to raise prices
    • Why being busy—or even having a waitlist—means it’s time to charge more
    • How money mindset issues sneak into your pricing decisions

We’ve made these mistakes ourselves at PelvicSanity, and we’ve seen them across hundreds of businesses. This episode will help you stop undercharging, gain confidence in your pricing, and protect the long-term health of your practice.

  • Nicole's Nudge #1 - Ask Better Evaluation Questions
    2025/09/29

In this first Nicole’s Nudge episode, we’re diving into two powerful questions you can use to unlock your patient’s true goals during their evaluation.

Too often, we get caught up in the symptoms without uncovering what really scares our patients—or how their life would change if those symptoms disappeared. These questions can shift the entire course of care and strengthen the therapeutic alliance right from the start.

Listen in as we share the exact phrasing for these questions, why they matter, and how you can implement them with patients this week.

Nicole’s Nudges are short, bite-sized episodes designed to help you refocus on the fundamentals of pelvic health care. Each week we’ll give you a specific, actionable challenge you can use in the clinic right away. Simple, practical, and practice-changing.

Your Challenge: Use the two questions in this 'sode with your patients - either on the evaluation or follow-up visit. What did you learn?

  • How a Patient's First Impressions Make (or Break) Your Practice
    2025/09/25

How We Onboard New Patients (And Why It Matters So Much)

When new patients call your clinic, they’re often nervous, skeptical, and unsure. Many have never heard of pelvic PT—and nearly all have had negative healthcare experiences in the past.

Onboarding isn’t just logistics—it’s your first chance to show them you’re different. Done well, it builds comfort, trust, and confidence before they ever step into the treatment room.

    In this episode, we share:

    • Why onboarding is so important in pelvic health
    • How to handle the initial phone call to set expectations
    • What your welcome and reminder emails should include (and why generic EMR templates don’t cut it)
    • How to greet new patients when they arrive
    • Why the “new patient agreement” is like checking in at a high-end hotel

These small but intentional touches make a massive difference—not just for your patients, but for your therapists and your entire business.
