The book begins with Jesus’ instructions and ends with Paul’s steady discipleship. This reveals a rhythm in God’s movement: the spectacular and the steady both have a place in the maturing of His people. Nancy calls us to consider whether we are spectators of God’s movement or surrendered participants in His ongoing acts. This is a call to live as living witnesses—glad-hearted, trustworthy sons—formed in the everyday, prepared for the hour we’re living in, and united as His apostolic company on the earth today.
