概要

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is relentless, exhausting, and often invisible. Please Excuse My OCD is a space for real conversations about what it truly means to live with OCD. For years, OCD took so much from me; time, confidence, and connection. But through therapy, self-work, and finding others who truly get it, I found my way forward. This podcast exists to bring community, validation, and education to those who need it most; whether you are someone with OCD, or you love someone who lives with it. You are not alone, you are not broken, and you are SEEN!PLEASE EXCUSE MY OCD 心理学 心理学・心の健康 衛生・健康的な生活

  • Moms With OCD (Mother's Day Edition) - Erin Jones
    2025/05/11

TRIGGER WARNING: This episode discusses personal experiences with OCD which may be sensitive or triggering for some listeners.

Welcome to another episode of 'PLEASE EXCUSE MY OCD.' Today is a very special Mother's Day episode and so I figured we could highlight Moms with OCD! Today, I’m joined by my friend Erin Jones! Erin Jones, LCMHC, is a therapist at Bull City Anxiety and OCD Treatment Center based out of Durham, NC, where she specializes in OCD and related disorders. She works with kids, teens, and adults and has extensive experience working with mothers/parents with OCD, especially considering she is one herself!

As always, I am not a therapist, these episodes should never take the place of medically trained advice. If you are struggling, please seek advice from a trained medical professional.

Each week, join me as I delve into the realities of living with OCD. From personal anecdotes to real world insights, this podcast is a perfect blend of encouragement, tools and honest conversation.
