Ranger Suarez made his 2025 season debut for the Philadelphia Phillies, but took the loss after giving up 7 runs to the Arizona Diamondbacks in the series finale at Citizens Bank Park yesterday. Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper homered for the Phillies offense, but it wasn't enough to overcome the three runs allowed by the bullpen in the top of the 10th inning. Up next, it's a three game series with the Tampa Bay Rays.

Taijuan Walker pitched well in last night's loss to the Washington Nationals, but it was a costly error from Philadelphia Phillies first baseman, Bryce Harper, that doomed Walker's start and handed him the loss. The Phillies take two of three from the Nationals and have won two straight series. Now, Corbin Carroll and the Arizona Diamondbacks come to town for a 3-game weekend series. Bryson Stott scored the game winning run on a wild pitch as the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Washington Nationals 7-6 in the first game of a three game series at Citizens Bank Park. Zack Wheeler was excellent, once again, but took a no decision after Orion Kerkering gave up a 3-run homerun to Nathanial Lowe in the top of the 9th. Johan Rojas and Trea Turner contribute offensively, but struggle defensively. The Phillies are now 16-13 and on a 3 game winning streak.
