Kyla is officially homesick for a city she has never lived in. Between the architecture, fall in New York, subway entrances, oversized sunglasses, and people casually ignoring camera crews on the sidewalk, RHONY feels like a love letter to the city. And Daisy Toye is quickly becoming a favorite, from casually calling Martha Stewart for advice to proudly showing off her rent-controlled apartment and taking us home to Brooklyn to meet her family.
That leads to a bigger question when watching ANY Housewives show: When did wealth become the personality instead of the backdrop? Dom is officially over Jessel Taank’s snobbery, while Erika Hammond’s comments about chefs, grocery stores, and her lifestyle leave both Dom and Kyla conflicted. There’s a difference between watching someone live an affluent life and watching someone make affluence their entire identity. Daisy somehow has Martha Stewart on speed dial while still feeling like the most grounded person in the room.
Meanwhile, Hailey Glassman’s fascinating backstory keeps getting more complicated. She explains how tennis brought her to college before drug-testing requirements changed her plans, and how she later met Jon Gosselin while he was staying in her mother’s basement. Hailey says Jon and Kate were already separated, though the public didn't know it, and describes the tabloid frenzy that followed their relationship as part of what eventually pushed her toward PR.
Dom doesn’t necessarily believe Hailey broke up the marriage, but he also doesn’t fully buy the innocent-bystander version of the story. Dom Torres feels like it should be understood that dating a very recognizable reality star who publicly appeared to still be married with eight children was always going to attract attention. And now we need to know more about this entire family because why exactly was Jon Gosselin living in her mother’s basement?
Dom likes Hailey for the show. Whether he actually likes Hailey is becoming a different question. Kyla Denanyoh is being entertained by Hailey, and enjoys the vulnerability when Hailey described how traumatizing it was to be thought of as someone who broke up a renowned marriage. The RHONY cast is fascinating!

The episode centers on Mary Cosby returning after the devastating loss of her son. Dom and Kyla discuss how vulnerable Mary is about grief, finding a new normal, and choosing to keep moving forward while acknowledging that grief doesn’t exactly respect a three-week bereavement schedule. From her son’s dog, Cray Cray, spending time in his room to Mary admitting that the Housewives are her chosen family, the episode is heartbreaking without feeling too vulnerable or exploitative. And thankfully, Bravo did not show the funeral.
However, Kyla wants to discuss Heather Gay having a boyfriend! Tripp is a motorcycle-riding, leather-jacket-wearing, airbrushed-helmet-owning man who reminds Kyla of Neegan from The Walking Dead (but in a good way). Dom and Kyla question Jessel’s decision to repeatedly bring up Carolyn, her style, and even whether she was a “bitch” while sitting across from someone who actually knew and loved her. Carole says she doesn’t want to discuss it, but Jessel keeps going. Grief doesn’t play fair, and sometimes “read the room” is the only advice you need.

Meanwhile, Hailey reveals she’s in a lavender marriage, proving once again that relationships do not have to follow anyone else’s rules.

Then there’s Daisy and Eugene. Is moving her wineglass away from the edge of the table just a funny marriage quirk? Probably. But Eugene calling to ask whether Daisy turned off the electricity has Dom raising an eyebrow. First, Dom has officially had enough of Vicki’s Season 20 comeback. For someone who has spent 20 years watching RHOC, this anniversary season feels less like a celebration and more like Bravo handed him tinfoil instead of gold.

Kyla, meanwhile, has questions about Vicki’s relationship with Michael. Why does Vicki’s entire posture change whenever he appears? Why is she suddenly shushing Shannon when Michael walks into the house? And if Vicki wants to keep her relationship private, why does Michael keep showing up while cameras are rolling?

Things get even darker when Vicki refuses to genuinely apologize to Jen for calling her “low-hanging fruit,” tells everyone she needs to read her Bible and center herself, and eventually tells production she wants everyone out of her house. Dom and Kyla also feel for Shannon, who spends much of the episode trying to lighten the mood and seemingly protect everyone else from Vicki’s anger.

Thankfully, Tamra’s trip offers some relief. Carmella continues to prove she may be made for Housewives by quietly observing everyone, giving Heather some grace, and reminding the group that they barely know each other. Kyla also appreciates Carmella’s very Midwestern approach: collect the information, observe everybody, and make your own decision.

Ultimately, Dom Torres wonders whether Vicki still wants to be a Housewife. Kyla Denanyoh is still thoroughly entertained as an RHOC newbie, but after 20 years of watching, Dom feels cheated out of his anniversary. Vicki is proving that one bad orange really can ruin the whole bunch.

Let’s get into the relationships of the Real Housewives of Orange County! Dom Torres and Kyla Denanyoh are discussing Vicki and her relationship with Brian. But a man dangling a ring over you, using it as a carrot to control or change your behavior, is never a good sign. We hope there was a miscommunication when Vicki said she would get married when she “shaped up” or “got in line.”
Kyla asks Dom to share the history of Vicki and Brooks, and she is shocked to hear about Brooks repeated violations of Vicki’s trust. From allegedly hitting on Vicki’s daughter Brianna, to Brooks being hostile to Tamra, to him suggesting that Brianna’s husband physically abuse her, and allegedly faking a cancer diagnosis!
