There are some things we take for granted because it’s been a part of our entire life and we just don't think about it. Such is the concept of communication. Most of us think we’re good communicators, and we probably are, but all of us can improve. And, as I’m trying to do through this podcast, I want to know how can I can use communication to help others who’s hope might be challenged.
Dan Streety is my guest on this episode. He can be classified as an expert in communication. Dan is the chair of the communication department and assistant professor in the School of Communication and Performing Arts at East Texas Baptist University. He has an extensive background in using communication in many different applications in business, industry, and even entertainment. Now he is using his knowledge and skill to help bring true and lasting hope to others as he communicates the love and grace of our Lord Jesus.
Dan’s perspective is that at its core, all communication is a story and it’s about finding the right message at the right time to the right audience. He uses that understanding as he blends the concepts of communication and hope and brings them together to help us help others.
I invite you to join us as together we journey to hope.
