Everyone has a story to share and that is worth listening to. For most, the trials they experienced in early life certainly impact the kind of person they mature into. Tragically for some, it causes them to experience ongoing pain in adult life and clouds their view of the future.

Not so with my guest today. Jessica experienced tragic events and ongoing challenges throughout her early life and early development, she overcame them to grow into a remarkable young lady with a clear view of the future. That view includes helping others with their challenges.

Isn't it wonderful how people come into our lives and we are changed for the good. Such is the case with my guest in this podcast. Bradley Byrne is the former Chancellor for Alabama's 2-year college system. I had the honor of serving with him on staff. Later Bradley became one of our congressmen representing the Mobile, Alabama disctrict. Now he serves as the President and CEO of the Mobile Chamber of Commerce. Throughout my time serving with him and seeing him serve in other capacities I've always noted how he uses his position to positively influnce others and bring hope.
