Oklahoma State pulled off a jaw-dropping 39-31 upset over No. 6 Oregon, ending a 21-game losing streak against top-tier teams and igniting wild celebrations as fans stormed the field. Quarterback Drew Mestemaker was the star, throwing for 317 yards and two TDs—including a 52-yard bomb—while also rushing for 109 yards and a score on just six carries. His 75-yard opening drive run set the tone, and he sealed the win with a clutch 75-yard drive capped by a diving 10-yard touchdown run. Oklahoma State outgained Oregon 554-281, marking their first win against a top-six team since 2022—and Mestemaker earned National Player of the Week honors. This wasn’t just a victory; it was a statement from a team nobody expected to deliver.

Oklahoma State stunned No. 21 Oregon with a 39-31 upset, capitalizing on a tell in quarterback Dante Moore’s footwork—his distinct stance before passing tipped off the Cowboys’ defense, leading to four sacks and a slow start. Moore completed just one of his first seven passes but later found his rhythm, throwing two touchdowns. Though he’s never thrown an interception this season, the exposed tendency gives Oregon a chance to fix it—and even weaponize it. Coach Dan Lanning confirms they’re working to disguise these tells, turning a setback into a strategic opportunity for growth.

Oregon Ducks QB Dante Moore’s pre-snap stance is leaking play calls—balanced feet = run, forward step = pass—and Oklahoma State’s defense caught on. It’s a glaring, fixable flaw that slipped through training camp, now threatening their season as they face tougher matchups ahead. Moore admits he’s working on it, but with USC looming and a shaky record already, the Ducks need to get fundamentals dialed in fast—or risk falling further behind.
