On this episode of Moms Unfiltered, a special edition of Operations Unfiltered, I'm joined by Chef Starr, owner of The Tastery, personal chef, culinary instructor, and mom of three, to talk about the realities of balancing motherhood, entrepreneurship, and personal identity.

We get into her journey from selling dinner plates to attending culinary school, the importance of mentorship, learning to set boundaries in business, and why it's never too late to chase your dreams.

Chef Starr also shares how motherhood has shaped her approach to business, why being present matters more than achieving the perfect work-life balance, and the importance of asking for help.

Plus, we're getting into kitchen confessions, mom hacks, food debates, and a hilarious round of Would You Rather!

Whether you're raising kids, building a business, or rediscovering who you are outside of motherhood, this conversation is for you.

On this episode of Moms Unfiltered, I’m chatting with Jennifer Schlesinger, PT with GBMC, about a part of women’s health we don’t talk about nearly enough — pelvic floor therapy.

We get into what the pelvic floor actually does, how pregnancy and childbirth can impact it, and symptoms like leaking, pelvic pressure, back pain, or pain during sex that moms may brush off as “normal.”

Jennifer also breaks down what pelvic floor therapy actually looks like, why it’s about so much more than Kegels, and when it may be time to seek support.

Whether you’re newly postpartum or years into motherhood, this is one of those conversations that may have you thinking, “Why did no one tell me this before?”
