It’ss been a while but we’re back! With a brand new store that opened last week in Centeeach Sprouts Farmers Market. We took a ride up and had a look around. Good layout could be a little bigger but it’s fine, What an amazing array of options to choose from and all smaller name brands which is great. We ventured to the newly opened Wegmans in Lake Grove and found it predictably crowded. The store's design is appealing, featuring a wide, clean layout with an industrial aesthetic and exposed ceilings. The bakery was a feast for the eyes, showcasing a wide range of breads and pastries. The meat and seafood counters were equally well-stocked. It's a welcome addition to the local grocery scene. We sampled a few snacks, noting the use of good ingredients. Found a close Vineyard in Calverton Farm Wines wasn’t sure what to expect. We wanted to find a challenging hike and read up that these trails were hilly!

A fairly spacious parking lot at the beginning there are options for restrooms provided by the local library. The weather wasn’t very cooperative but the tree canopy kept us mostly protected from the sporadic rain showers. The trail was beautiful and challenging with consistent ups and downs, we went two miles in and turned around for a total of 4 miles, there is an attachment to the Nassau greenbelt which takes you all the way down to Massapequa for a total of 20 miles.
