We gotta talk strategies!

To break the NCLEX and make it yours, you don’t need to know by heart the whole textbook you’re carrying around. Honestly, you need to have a tool kit of strategies that help you every time you face a question. Content overload is a real thing. Just like burnout, where you’re exposed to so many things simultaneously, you cannot retain any of the crucial information they provide. That’s why you need the test and its content to make sense to you, and one single source of content might be the best way to go.

When it makes sense to you, it all gets easier!

The NCLEX is a test about survival skills!

In this episode of the Nurse Acumen Podcast, Sean will give you one of his biggest secrets and a wonderful Guns N’ Roses serenade. The NCLEX test is actually pretty fun, and we have to think of it like a game: with images, drag and drop assets, calculations, and selecting all that apply. The same thing happens with medications and diseases, if you know the general reasons for them you will not need to learn every single one. The NCLEX will measure if you know how to keep patients out of harm’s way and if you can deliver care at an entry-level.

That’s it! That is all the content you need to know from the medical world to pass your NCLEX exam!
