Not Done Yet: Street Stories

Real people. Real struggles. Real strength.

Life doesn’t come with a script, and neither do these conversations. Not Done Yet: Street Stories is a reimagined take on the original Not Done Yet podcast, now hitting the pavement to meet people where they are: on the street, in the moment, in the middle of whatever life is throwing at them.

I’ve found that many people think they don’t have a story worth sharing—but I believe we all do. Even if it’s not a dramatic ‘before and after,’ every journey holds meaning.

Each 15–20 minute episode features spontaneous interviews with everyday people answering 5–7 questions about a challenging time in their life. No prep. No polish. Just honest reflections on setbacks, struggles, and the messy middle, and what keeps them going.

We still bring you longer, in-depth episodes too. But most weeks, it’s street stories: unfiltered, unexpected, and deeply human.

We hope this podcast serves as inspiration for whatever challenge you're currently navigating.

Because we’re all not done yet, and that’s exactly where the story lives.

Today's episode is a little different. Quincy is being interviewed by Ashley Fry, one of his former guests who had the idea for Quincy to be in the guest's seat. Today we reveal the deeper meaning behind the podcast. Join us today to hear about Quincy's journey to self-discovery, battling imposter syndrome, and shedding old identities.

This is a story about growth, gratitude, and the courage to keep going — even when you’re not sure where the road leads. If you’ve ever questioned your worth or wondered if your story matters, this one’s for you.

  • 11. Seconds Away From Blindness: Maggie's Story of Seeing Beyond the Struggle
    2025/10/28

In this deeply moving episode, we sit down with Maggie, a mental health and behavioural consultant whose journey has been shaped by adversity, challenge, and purpose.

Raised in Jordan, Maggie grew up witnessing the injustices faced by women and children — including the trauma experienced within her own family. Seeking safety and a new beginning, she arrived in Canada as a refugee, only to confront yet another life-changing challenge: Keratoconus, an eye condition that nearly cost her her sight.

But Maggie’s story is not defined by what she endured — it’s defined by how she rose.

Now a passionate advocate and respected community leader, Maggie opens up about the experiences that shaped her work, the strength it took to rebuild her life, and why she believes true healing is a collective journey.

This episode is a powerful exploration of trauma, resilience, identity, and the clarity that can emerge even in life’s darkest moments.

If you’ve ever questioned your purpose, your path, or your inner strength — this conversation is for you.

  • 10. Exercising Your "I Don’t Care What People Think" Muscle
    2025/10/21

In this episode, I talk about the importance of exercising the 'I don't care what people think' muscle. Many people are held back by the fear of judgment and the visibility of their actions in today's world. Join me as I share my personal experience of overcoming these fears (while still living with them), and encourage listeners to take action, embrace their unique gifts, and not let the opinions of others dictate their lives.
